This play presents the disturbing frenzy of interpretations surrounding the artist Camille Claudel (1864-1943), who was the mistress of the sculptor Auguste Rodin and sister to playwright Paul Claudel, both of whom helped institutionalize her in an asylum, where she died, her art nearly forgotten.
